Therefore\, it is not certain that this course are recognized at your institution for your PhD curriculum. \nLecturer\nProf. Dr. Matthias Menter (FSU Jena) \nCourse Outline\nCorporate entrepreneurship is essential for today’s firms and currently a topic of considerable interest within the business community. To succeed in the long term\, incumbent firms must steadily develop new ideas and strategies. Therefore\, those firms must anticipate opportunities for entering new markets and generate innovations faster than their best competitors. This is exactly where corporate entrepreneurship comes into play. The aim of the course is to examine the antecedents and consequences of corporate entrepreneurship. Students will learn the theories\, principles\, concepts\, and practices of entrepreneurial development within organizations.
